This tranquil waterfront camp is neat as a new pin, with modern amenities and its own water treatment station. There are 93 level sites, all with power.

We found this campsite to be lovely. However, the managers were extremely unpleasant and for this reason alone, we would not return or recommend this Holiday Park to others.
It was nothing personal, we were actually at a beach down the road and heard a group of people talking about how rude "the owner" had been to them on their arrival and sure enough, they were staying at the Whangateau Holiday Park.
Beautiful facilities, although they were a bit overpriced for camping. Several details were not included in the description, like showers costing additional money etc. It wasn't a problem to pay the extra money, it would have been nice to know ahead of time.
We had a wonderful weekend, but the management was utterly rude... you could even say nasty. We laughed it off in the end but definitely will never return there.
